Victorian Mountain Escape, Aspen, CO

It was in 1998, a Philadelphia couple followed their dreams by purchasing a vacation home in Aspen, CO after decades of ski trips visiting the adorable town. It was an 1880's brick Victorian home in the historic west end of the village, walking distance to town. The house needed several renovations over time with dark Victorian wallpaper covering the walls throughout. Comfort and simplicity were the new aesthetics. The result - ambiance of charm, comfort and classical simplicity, spiced by a little sense of humor. Throughout the home, a warm color palette predominates, especially in the living room with lime green, which contrasts with a natural sisal rug counter parted by touches of charcoal and white fabrics
