Patricia Gorman Associates, Inc. is a premier, full-service interior design firm specializing in fine, residential interiors. Patricia "Trish" Gorman has 30+ years of extensive design experience, renovating historic properties to building & designing prestigious, large vacation homes all over the country.
With a BS in Architecture, Trish has a unique gift for visual & conceptual 3D design and understanding the architectural elements in a space. Spend an hour with Trish and you'll realize that with her energy and spark, she has a natural talent to develop close relationships with her clients and tackle the projects others call impossible. Trish is often complimented on the coziness of her designs. It comes from understanding scale, proportion, style, fabrics & building materials, combined with comfortable furnishings.

About Patricia:
Educated at Pratt University in NYC & University of the Arts in Philadelphia, she graduated with a BS in Architecture, which explains her talents for understanding space and scale in addition to her expansive knowledge of interior design.

Interior Design has been a lifelong dream and passion of Trish's since she was 10 years old. With her extensive experience and tireless work in making sure every detail is correct, Trish's dream is long from over.
In addition to being a member of ASID, she is one of the founding directors of the Interior Design Legislation Coalition, a group that helps to make Interior Design a licensed profession.

She has helped us with 2 diverse properties, one a traditional, old Pennsylvania stone house , the other a Florida new build. Her ability to adapt and develop a casual elegance in totally different venues is truly amazing. She has the ability to push things to a conclusion without being pushy. She can present several unique and creative alternatives without being overwhelming . She is very constructive at the concept stage, yet can be a stickler for detail at the implementation stage.

Trish and Erica did an excellent job helping me layout and furnish my first home. The walked me through the process of sketching out a floor plan, establishing my needs, and creating a budget. They helped me to pick out statement pieces and build matching furniture and accessories around those decisions. Throughout, they offered me a ton of alternatives I wouldn't have otherwise been able to find and brainstormed solutions for challenging areas with me. They worked with me to understand what I wanted in my home and helped me to identify more reasonable or functional alternatives. They were a great sounding board, keeping me from overlooking details I might have forgotten otherwise.
